There is the right shoe care for every material. After cleaning, the right shoe care helps to maintain the elasticity and colour depth of the material. Leather shoes need more intensive care, which does not have to be time-consuming, and remain beautifully supple. A coloured shoe polish refreshes the colours of leather shoes. What does solvent free mean?

"Solvent-free" for pedag shoe and leather care products means that the caring substances remain creamy, viscous or liquid without aggressive chemistry. We dissolve the care substances and color pigments mainly with water and use (if necessary at all) less than 1% of chemical solvents.

What happens in classic shoe care products with solvents such as ethanol, shellsol, dowanol, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate/isopropyl acetate, isopropanol, special benzines, etc.? Solvents in higher concentrations can attack and damage the finish of shoes, bags, furniture and leather jackets. As they evaporate, they pollute the air we breathe and the environment.
